It's been a busy week and yes, a good one. While we are  here in Scottsdale, Alison has checked our phone messages and said that Elder Peterson from the Missionary Training Center in Provo had called about us coming down to take the English International Language Class. Gene called him back and he said they wanted to know if we would be able to come to the MTC on Sunday afternoon, November 28 and be ready to begin the class on Monday. The class would be 8:00 am - 5:00 pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. We could stay at the MTC and would be able to participate in their devotional on Tuesday night when one of the Brethren come to speak. Gene told him we would be happy to do that and could arrange to do so. He said there is another couple going to Viet Nam that would also be in the class. (I'm not sure how many others). Anyway, he said he would make the arrangements and get back with us.

That means that we would return from Scottsdale on November 19, prepare and have Thanksgiving on the 25th and go to the MTC on the 28th. Elder Peterson said they would be long days, but I'm sure it's just a taste of what is to come. It will be a good 'sneak peak'  of our experience at the MTC come January 31. It will be nice to become just a little familiar with the routine and feel of the Spirit there. We are excited and look forward to it.
